January 25, 2020

How have you started your 2020 year, are you a planner? are you a goal setter? What’s your intention or New Year’s Resolutions for the year ahead?  I know many of us struggle with clutter and with everything we own to everything our children own that is left with us.  We can often wonder how we accumulated everything, now is the time to start the year off and live comfortably with a less cluttered house hold.

Now that some of us are coming to the end of our holidays we might start thinking about cleaning out your kitchen cupboards, wardrobes and getting organised for the year ahead.   Our children are back at school soon so you might be busy organising uniforms, stationary and getting your home ready with the new Xmas present additions from friends and family.  Things to think about, what is your storage like in your home? Are you maximising the spaces? Do you have too much furniture? Do you need everything out on display or is it better to have out the pieces that are important to you and store the items that you don’t use every day.

Is it time to freshen up your home with plants and bring life to your spaces?   As we plan our year ahead, think about the items around you and what importance they have, are they making you happy or are they frustrating you.  If your home is not how you want it, this can be changed and when it is you will feel like the weight has been lifted off your shoulders.  Work through each space, write down a list of things you would like in each room and what changes you need to make and then work towards your high priorities and focus on these first, you will surprise yourself what you get done and how good you feel.  If you need honesty and professional advice hire an Interior Designer who can help you on your journey.
